Praise to Our Heavenly Father
0
Today and every day let us sing praises to our Heavenly Father. For it is written: SING TO THE LORD A NEW SONG, AND HIS PRAISE IN THE ASSEMBLY OF SAINTS. ( PSALM 149:1 )
Therefore we: PRAISE GOD IN HIS SANCTUARY; PRAISE HIM IN HIS MIGHTY FIRMAMENT! PRAISE HIM FOR HIS MIGHTY ACTS; PRAISE HIM ACCORDING TO HIS EXCELLENT GREATNESS! PRAISE HIM WITH THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET; PRAISE HIM WITH LUTE AND HARP! PRAISE HIM WITH THE TIMBREL AND DANCE; PRAISE HIM WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS AND FLUTES! PRAISE HIM WITH LOUD CYMBALS; PRAISE HIM WITH CLASHING CYMBALS! LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. ( PSALM 150:1-6 )
So, why not attend your Church today, and be part of the assembly where you may join with others as they praise our Heavenly Father! Amen.
Now may your day be filled with Peace, and with God’s Blessings as well!
The Lord Is Close To The Broken Hearted

THE LORD IS GOOD, A REFUGE IN TIMES OF TROUBLE. HE CARES FOR THOSE WHO TRUST HIM! ( NAHUM 1:7 *NIV )
We all face troubling times in our lives from time to time. We often wish that we could escape these troubles like the pain of grief, loss, sorrow and failure; or maybe even the small daily frustrations that constantly bother us.
When you are experiencing problems like that remember that: THE LORD IS CLOSE TO THE BROKEN HEARTED AND SAVES THOSE WHO ARE CRUSHED IN SPIRIT. ( PSALM 34:18 )
After all: THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE ON THE RIGHTEOUS AND HIS EARS ARE ATTENTIVE TO THEIR CRY. ( PSALM 34:15 ) For: THE RIGHTEOUS CALL OUT, AND THE LORD HEARS THEM; HE DELIVERS THEM FROM ALL THEIR TROUBLES. ( PSALM 34:17 )
Now you may be thinking how does that apply to me, for I do not feel very righteous. Well, through Jesus Christ we have become righteous, for it is written: GOD MADE HIM WHO HAD NO SIN TO BE SIN, SO THAT IN HIM WE MIGHT BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. ( 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21 ) Therefore when we repent of our sins they are not only cleansed from “The Book of Life,” we also become righteous once again as well!
So remember the words of our Savior Jesus Christ, “DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED. TRUST IN GOD; TRUST ALSO IN ME.” ( JOHN 14:1 ) and let Him deliver you from all your troubles! For: A RIGHTEOUS MAN MAY HAVE MANY TROUBLES, BUT THE LORD DELIVERS HIM FROM THEM ALL. Amen! ( PSALM 34:19 )
A Merry Heart Makes A Cheerful Countenance
0
WHEN THE MORNING STARS SANG TOGETHER, AND ALL THE SONS OF GOD SHOUTED FOR JOY. ( JOB 38:7 *NKJV )
When we count our many blessings daily, it causes us to become a positive person. We also become more cheerful and gain a sunny disposition as well.
Now it is written that: HE WHO IS OF A MERRY HEART HAS A CONTINUAL FEAST. ( PROVERBS 15:15 ) That is because A MERRY HEART MAKES A CHEERFUL COUNTENANCE, BUT BY SORROW OF THE HEART THE SPIRIT IS BROKEN. ( PROVERBS 15:13 )
So, make a daily routine of counting all of your blessings, and you will become known as:
The Soul With Sunny Heart
God bless the soul with sunny heart
Who brightens up each day
By spreading seeds of cheerfulness
While traveling on life’s way.
God bless him for the stars of hope
He sets in each one’s sky;
For the encouragement he gives
That causes folk to try…
With stronger faith to press ahead,
With courage for a mate,
And reach for goals, and build anew,
And smile and challenge fate.
God bless his laughter and his song
That drives dark clouds away
From troubled minds, and paints instead
A rosy-tinted day.
God bless the soul with sunny heart
Who’s found in life his place,
And serves his God and fellow man
With humble, gentle grace.
The world has need of such a man
Who lifts the heart from gloom,
And in life’s barren places plants
Sweet flowers of love to bloom.
He may serve as some men serve
With fame or high degree…
But his good deeds will ever shine
Throughout eternity.

In Weakness, I Am Strong

TO KEEP ME FROM BECOMING CONCEITED BECAUSE OF THESE SURPASSINGLY GREAT REVELATIONS, THERE WAS GIVEN ME A THORNE IN MY FLESH, A MESSENGER OF SATAN, TO TORMENT ME. ( 2 CORINTHIANS 12:7 *NIV )
It is believed that the “thorne” Paul was talking about was his poor eye sight! After all it is known that Paul dictated almost all of his letters (or Books) to the Apostle Luke to write for him. Paul even made reference to his poor vision when he wrote: SEE WITH WHAT LARGE LETTERS I HAVE WRITTEN TO YOU WITH MY OWN HAND! ( GALATIANS 6:11 )
It must have been very hard for the Apostle Paul to have such poor eye sight for he stated that: “THREE TIMES I PLEADED WITH THE LORD TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME. BUT HE SAID TO ME, “MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU, FOR MY POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS,” ( 2 CORINTHIANS 12:8-9 )
Isn’t it wonderful my friend that God’s Grace is there for us as well! Therefore, LET US THEN APPROACH THE THRONE OF GRACE WITH CONFIDENCE, SO THAT WE MAY RECEIVE MERCY AND FIND GRACE TO HELP US IN OUR TIME OF NEED. ( HEBREWS 4:16 )
So, when you face difficulties in your life, try to be like Paul, for he said: “THEREFORE I WILL BOAST ALL THE MORE GLADLY ABOUT MY WEAKNESS, SO THAT CHRIST’S POWER MAY REST ON ME. THAT IS WHY, FOR CHRIST’S SAKE, I DELIGHT IN WEAKNESSES, IN INSULTS, IN HARDSHIPS, IN PERSECUTIONS, IN DIFFICULTIES. FOR WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG.” ( 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9-10 )
Now my friend, GRACE TO YOU AND PEACE FROM GOD OUR FATHER AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen. ( PHILEMON 3 )
