28 TO THEM GOD CHOSE TO MAKE KNOWN HOW GREAT AMONG THE GENTILES ARE THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF THIS MYSTERY, WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY. COLOSSIANS 1:27

If I have nothing to gain in this world I know well that, with Christ in me I have a hope of glory. This song ministers to me always. I listen to it everyday. I will like you to also listen and read the lyrics.

In Christ Alone

In Christ alone my hope is found

He is my light, my strength, my song

This Cornerstone, this solid ground

Firm through the fiercest drought and storm

What heights of love, what depths of peace

When fears are stilled, when strivings cease

My Comforter, my All in All

Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone, who took on flesh

Fullness of God in helpless babe

This gift of love and righteousness

Scorned by the ones He came to save

‘til on that cross as Jesus died

The wrath of God was satisfied

For every sin on Him was laid

Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay

Light of the world by darkness slain

Then bursting forth in glorious Day

Up from the grave He rose again

And as He stands in victory

Sin’s curse has lost its grip on him

For I am His and He is mine

Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death

This is the power of Christ in me

From life’s first cry to final breath

Jesus commands my destiny

No power of hell, no scheme of man

Can ever pluck me from His hand

‘til He returns or calls me home

Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand

 Have a wonderful day.

12 A MAN HAS JOY BY THE ANSWER OF HIS MOUTH, AND A WORD SPOKEN IN DUE SEASON, HOW GOOD IT IS! PROVERBS 15:23 *NKJV

Words are very powerful for they can either build up, or tear down others. Also foolish words can bring about our own destruction, for it is written; IN THE MOUTH OF A FOOL IS A ROD OF PRIDE, BUT THE LIPS OF THE WISE WILL PRESERVE THEM. PROVERBS 14:3

We are also warned about gossiping for it is written; IN ALL LABOR THERE IS PROFIT, BUT IDLE CHATTER LEADS ONLY TO POVERTY. PROVERBS 14:23 For after all; A WHOLESOME TONGUE IS A TREE OF LIFE, BUT PERVERSENESS IN IT BREAKS THE SPIRIT. PROVERBS 15:4

Further, God has instructed us to encourage one another, for it is written; LET US CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER IN ORDER TO STIR UP LOVE, AND GOOD WORKS, NOT FORSAKING THE ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER, AS IS THE MANNER OF SOME, BUT EXHORTING ONE ANOTHER, AND SO MUCH THE MORE. HEBREWS 10:24-25

So, remember to keep the words you speak soft and sweet. For you never know from day to day which words you’ll have to eat! Amen.
