Your prayers are powerful.

THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE. ( JAMES 5:16 *NIV )
I truly believe that our prayers are the most powerful things on Earth! After all what is a Miracle but a prayer that has been answered!
Thus it is written: DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANY- THING, BUT IN EVERYTHING, BY PRAYER AND PETITION, WITH THANKSGIVING, PRESENT YOUR REQUESTS TO GOD. ( PHILIPPIANS 4:6 ) After all, THE LORD IS FAR FROM THE WICKED BUT HE HEARS THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS. ( PROVERBS 15:29 )
Now I know that when our prayers aren’t answered the way we would like, it can disappoint us, we are sad and often depressed. However it is written that we should: BE JOYFUL ALWAYS; PRAY CONTINUALLY; GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR THIS IS GOD’S WILL FOR YOU IN JESUS CHRIST. ( 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18 )
Therefore, never feel that God doesn’t hear your prayers because a prayer isn’t answered immediately, or because it isn’t answered the way you would like. For your Heavenly Father always knows what is best for you, and HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. ( DEUTERONOMY 31:6 )
So, remember to always GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, CALL ON HIS NAME, for He will always hear the prayers of those who love and adore Him! ( 1 CHRONICLES 16:8 )
In closing my prayer is that: THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU ALL. ( 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 ) Now and always! Amen!
The Book of Psalms

LET US COME BEFORE HIM WITH THANKSGIVING AND EXTOL HIM WITH MUSIC AND SONG. ( Psalm 95:2 *NIV )
Now it is written that we should SPEAK TO ONE ANOTHER WITH PSALMS, HYMNS AND SPIRITUAL SONGS. SING AND MAKE MUSIC IN YOUR HEART TO THE LORD. ( Ephesians 5:19-20 ) So, we will turn to the Book of Psalms. The Hebrew word for Psalm is [mizmar]. This Hebrew word is derived from the verb [zamar] which means “To Make Music.”
Therefore the Book of Psalms is the hymnal of ancient Israel. While the lyrics are preserved, the music originally written to accompany them has been lost to the ages. For only the occasional musical notations are left. For instance many are directed “To The Chief Musician,” while others call for musical accompaniment.
As an example Psalm 4 calls for stringed instruments; Psalm 5 for flutes; Psalm 6 for the eight-stringed harp; and Psalm 8 for the instrument of Gath *NKJV, or according to Gittith *NIV. It’s true meaning is unknown to us today.
You will even find that some of the Hymns that we use today were inspired by the words of a particular Psalm. Some of those Hymns are as follows:
Psalm 23 inspired:
1. The King Of Love MY Shepard Is
2. My Shepard Shall Supply My Need
3. The Lord Is My Shepard
Psalm 46 inspired:
1. A Mighty Fortress Is My God
Psalm 61 inspired:
1. Hiding In Thee ( O Safe to the Rock that is Higher
Than I )
Psalm 87 inspired:
1. Glorious Things Of Thee Are Spoken
Psalm 90 inspired:
1. O God, Our Help In Ages Past
Psalm 100 inspired:
1. All People That On Earth Do Dwell
2. Before Jehovah’s Awful Throne
Psalm 103 inspired:
1. Praise To The Lord, The Almighty
Psalm 104 inspired:
1. O Worship The King, All Glorious Above
Psalm 126 inspired:
1. Bring In The Sheaves
So the next time you sing or hear one of those beautiful Hymns, remember that it was inspired by the words of a 3,000 year old Psalm.
Have a wonderful day and may it be filled with music. Amen.
Be strong in the Lord

BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT; BECAUSE YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL WALKS ABOUT LIKE A ROARING LION, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR. ( 1 PETER 5:8 *NKJV )
As you know we all face temptations from time to time. When we are tempted it is important to remember that they come from satan, and not God. For it is written: LET NO ONE SAY WHEN HE IS TEMPTED, ‘I AM TEMPTED BY GOD.’; FOR GOD CANNOT BE TEMPTED BY EVIL, NOR DOES HE HIMSELF TEMPT ANYONE. BUT EACH ONE IS TEMPTED WHEN HE IS DRAWN AWAY BY HIS OWN DESIRES AND ENTICED. ( JAMES 1:13-14 )
So when satan tries to tempt you SUBMIT TO GOD. RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU. ( JAMES 4:7 ) After all our Savior Jesus Christ gave us power over the devil when He said, I HAVE GIVEN YOU AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE ON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS, AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU. ( LUKE 10:19 )
FINALLY MY BROTHERN, BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT. PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD, THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL. ( EPHESIANS 6:10-11 ) Then you will be able to take names and kick serpent, when satan tries to tempt you! Amen.
I WILL FEAR NO EVIL

BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE; DO NOT BE AFRAID, NOR BE DISMAYED, FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO. ( JOSHUA 1:9 * NKJV )
Whenever you become fearful know that: THE LORD, HE IS THE ONE WHO GOES BEFORE YOU. HE WILL BE WITH YOU, HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU; DO NOT FEAR NOR BE DISMAYED. ( DEUTERONOMY 31:8 )
After all, when we are fearful we worry and tend to build mountains out of mole hills in our minds. Now things rarely ever materialize nearly as bad as we then have anticipated. Thus we have become fearful for nothing, and remember that fear is the opposite of faith!
Now God has even promised us: WHEN YOU PASS THROUGH THE WATERS, I WILL BE WITH YOU; AND THROUGH THE RIVERS, THEY SHALL NOT OVERFLOW YOU. WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE FIRE, YOU SHALL NOT BE BURNED, NOR SHALL THE FLAMES SCORCH YOU. ( ISAIAH 43:2 ) This verse is referring to the Children passing through the Red Sea, and also the protection HE gave to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, in the fiery furnace. Both are good examples of how God has helped HIS Children in the past!
Therefore King David was able to boldly say: “YEA, THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL; FOR YOUR ROD AND STAFF, THEY COMFORT ME. ( PSALM 23:4 )
So, when you become worried or fearful know that God will help you, just as HE has done for His Children in the past! Therefore; you may boldly say: THE LORD IS MY LIGHT AND MY SALVATION; WHOM SHALL I FEAR? THE LORD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY LIFE; OF WHOM SHALL I BE AFRAID? Amen! ( PSALM 27:1 )
Never give up but wait patiently.

MY BROTHERN, COUNT IT ALL JOY WHEN YOU FALL INTO VARIOUS TRAILS, KNOWING THAT THE TESTING OF YOUR FAITH PRODUCES PATIENCE. ( JAMES 1:2-3 *NKJV )
We all have times in our lives when our patience and our endurance seem to be running low. Times that we may even think that we can’t take it anymore. When that happens to you remember that our Heavenly Father is a; GOD OF PATIENCE AND COMFORT. ( ROMANS 15:5 ) He is always there for us, and will lead us out of our problems if we practice patience.
Now we learn by reading the Scriptures that patience is a Virtue. FOR WHATEVER THINGS WERE WRITTEN BEFORE WERE WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING, THAT WE THROUGH THE PATIENCE AND COMFORT OF THE SCRIPTURES MIGHT HAVE HOPE. ( ROMANS 15:4 )
Further by learning about how God has handled things in the past gives us knowledge of how He will handle the future as well. Remember the story of Job and how he endured? The Bible tells us: INDEED WE COUNT THEM BLESSED WHO ENDURE. YOU HAVE HEARD OF THE PATIENCE OF JOB AND SEEN THE END INTENDED BY THE LORD-THAT THE LORD IS VERY COMPASSIONATE AND MERCIFUL. ( JAMES 5:11 )
So never give up, wait patiently and be sure: THAT YOU DO NOT BECOME SLUGGISH, BUT IMITATORS OF THOSE WHO THROUGH FAITH AND PATIENCE INHERIT THE PROMISES. ( HEBREWS 6:12 )
Therefore, MAY THE LORD DIRECT YOUR HEART INTO THE LOVE OF GOD AND INTO THE PATIENCE OF CHRIST. ( 2 THES 3:5 ) and: LET PATIENCE HAVE ITS PERFECT WORK, THAT YOU MAY BE PERFECT AND COMPLETE, LACKING NOTHING. Amen. ( JAMES 1:4 )
