Now just as a shepherd will protect his sheep, Jesus will protect us from Eternal harm. Even though we may suffer here on Earth from the devil’s temptations, satan cannot harm our souls or take away our Eternal Life with God in Heaven.
While there are many reasons to be fearful here on this Earth: BECAUSE YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL WALKS ABOUT LIKE A ROARING LION, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR. ( 1 PETER 5:8 ) It is through Jesus that we are given Eternal safety. For: THIS IS THE TESTIMONY: THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, AND THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON. HE WHO HAS THE SON HAS LIFE; HE WHO DOES NOT HAVE THE SON OF GOD DOES NOT HAVE LIFE. ( 1 JOHN 5:11-12 )
So my friend, always remember: THE LORD ALMIGHTY IS WITH US; THE GOD OF JACOB IS OUR FORTRESS. ( PSALM 46:7 ) Therefore: WHY SHOULD I FEAR WHEN EVIL DAYS COME, WHEN WICKED DECEIVERS SURROUND ME? ( PSALM 49:5 ) For: THE LORD IS MY LIGHT AND MY SALVATION–WHOM SHALL I FEAR? THE LORD IS THE STRONGHOLD OF MY LIFE OF WHOM SHALL I BE AFRAID? ( PSALM 27:1 )
Now, may: THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE COMMUNION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU. AMEN. ( 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 )

This is the Fifth Commandment, the first one with a promise! Now as we honor our mother and father, let us not forget; to honor our Heavenly Father as well. For, HAVE WE NOT ALL ONE FATHER? DID HE NOT CREATE US? MALACHI 2:10
Therefore, I would like to share the following poem. A poem dedicated to our Heavenly Father!
Never Alone!
He can calm the troubled waters
When you walk in dark despair.
There is hope when you feel helpless
Knowing that the Lord is there…
Sharing in your sunshine moments
Or in valleys deep and wide,
He is always by your side.
There’s no other friend so faithful
Through the sunshine and rain,
Through the teardrops and the laughter,
In your joy and in your pain.
We could never, ever thank Him
For His love He gives so free,
Never changing…never ending
Throughout all eternity.

YOU ARE MY LAMP, O LORD; THE LORD TURNS MY DARKNESS INTO LIGHT! 2 SAMUEL 22:29 *NIV
We have all experienced dark times in our lives. Times when all hope seems gone, and we wonder how we will ever make it through them. As Children of God, we always have God’s light to give us hope, and to strengthen us and guide us out of the darkness! FOR THIS IS GOD, OUR GOD FOREVER AND EVER; HE WILL BE OUR GUIDE EVEN TO DEATH. PSALM 48:14
What a wonderful Heavenly Father He is indeed! Always there with us no matter what happens! Also always blessing us with His Love, Hope, Faith, Peace and Guidance. After all it is written; I WILL INSTRUCT YOU AND TEACH YOU IN THE WAY YOU SHOULD GO; I WILL GUIDE YOU WITH MY EYE. PSALM 32:8
You see, those dark times actually strengthened us, and shaped us into the people we are today! So, LET US WALK IN THE LIGHT OF THE LORD. ISAIAH 2:5 For when you do, each day you will be able to; ARISE, SHINE, FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME, AND THE GLORY OF GOD RISES UPON YOU. ISAIAH 60:1
Now, TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU FROM STUMBLING, AND TO PRESENT YOU FAULTLESS BEFORE THE PRESENCE OF HIS GLORY WITH EXCEEDING JOY. TO GOD OUR SAVIOR, WHO ALONE IS WISE, BE GLORY AND MAJESTY, DOMINION AND POWER, BOTH NOW AND FOREVER. AMEN. JUDE 24-25

HE HAS GIVEN US THIS COMMAND: WHOEVER LOVES GOD MUST ALSO LOVE HIS BROTHER. 1 JOHN 4:21 *NIV
Our Savior Jesus Christ said: “A NEW COMMAND I GIVE YOU: LOVE ONE ANOTHER. AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, SO YOU MUST LOVE ONE ANOTHER.” JOHN 13:34
So, OFFER HOSPITALITY TO ONE ANOTHER WITHOUT GRUMBLING. EACH ONE SHOULD USE WHATEVER GIFT HE HAS RECEIVED TO SERVE OTHERS, FAITHFULLY ADMINISTRATING GOD’S GRACE IN ITS VARIOUS FORMS. 1 PETER 4:9-10
Thus, IF ANYONE HAS MATERIAL POSSESSIONS AND SEES HIS BROTHER IN NEED BUT HAS NO PITY ON HIM, HOW CAN THE LOVE OF GOD BE IN HIM? DEAR CHILDREN, LET US NOT LOVE WITH WORDS OR TONGUE BUT WITH ACTIONS AND IN TRUTH. Now just, SUPPOSE A BROTHER OR SISTER IS WITHOUT CLOTHES AND DAILY FOOD. IF ONE OF YOU SAYS TO HIM, “GO, I WISH YOU WELL; KEEP WARM AND WELL FED,” BUT DOES NOTHING ABOUT HIS PHYSICAL NEEDS, WHAT GOOD IS IT? After all Jesus also said: “I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, WHATEVER YOU DID FOR ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE BROTHERS OF MINE, YOU DID FOR ME.” 1 JOHN 3:17-18 JAMES 2:15-16 MATTHEW 25:40
Therefore, LOVE MUST BE SINCERE. HATE WHAT IS EVIL; CLING TO WHAT IS GOOD. BE DEVOTED TO ONE ANOTHER IN BROTHERLY LOVE. HONOR ONE ANOTHER ABOVE YOURSELVES. ROMANS 12:9-10 and God will Bless you for it! Amen.

God is a friend and companion for those who love and obey His Word. For as king David said, YOUR WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET AND A LIGHT FOR MY PATH. PSALM 119:105
After all it is written: THE LORD HIMSELF GOES BEFORE YOU AND WILL BE WITH YOU; HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. So why not spend a little time in prayer with God each and every day. You will find Him to be your very best Friend indeed! Amen.

“My Unseen Guest”
God walks the trail with me each day,
He is my Friend, My Guide
However long or steep the road,
He’s ever by my side.
He sits with me in evening’s hush;
We speak, we laugh, we pray,
And my heart sings a joyful song…
He’s never far away.

He’s guarding from above.
