In Christ you will find peace

FOR GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION BUT OF PEACE, AS IN ALL THE CHURCHES OF THE SAINTS. ( 1 CORINTHIANS 14:33 *NKJV )

In this World today it is hard for most people to find any peace at all. Confusion abounds no matter where we go. Jesus warned us about that for He said: “THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU, THAT IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE. IN THE WORLD YOU WILL HAVE TRIBULATION; BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.” ( JOHN 16:33 )

After all it is written that: THE LORD WILL GIVE STRENGTH TO HIS PEOPLE; THE LORD WILL BLESS HIS PEOPLE WITH PEACE. ( PSALM 29:11 ) So when you find yourself confused, always look to Jesus Christ for HE HIMSELF IS OUR PEACE. After all He said: “PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE YOU.” ( EPHESIANS 2:14 ) ( JOHN 14:27 )

Now that is a loving caring peace that we become filled with on our spiritual journey, and peace is only one of the many blessings we receive on that journey, for it is also written: THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS AND SELF-CONTROL. AGAINST SUCH THINGS THERE IS NO LAW. ( GALATIANS 5:22-23 )

So, it is my prayer that you are well on your way down that spiritual path right now, and that: THE PEACE OF GOD WHICH SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEART AND MIND THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. Amen! ( PHILIPPIANS 4:7 )

His willingness to forgive

THE LORD OUR GOD IS MERCIFUL AND FORGIVING, EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE REBELLED AGAINST HIM. DANIEL 9:9 *NIV

Our Savior not only taught about forgiveness, He also demonstrated it as well! Here are a few examples that demonstrate His willingness to forgive, and that same forgiveness applies to us today as well!

1. A paralytic man lying on a mat: SOME MEN BROUGHT TO HIM A PARALYTIC, LYING ON A MAT. WHEN JESUS SAW THEIR FAITH, HE SAID TO THE PARALYTIC, “TAKE HEART, SON: YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN.” MATTHEW 9:2 *NIV

2. The woman caught in adultery: THE TEACHERS OF THE LAW AND THE PHARISEES BROUGHT IN A WOMAN CAUGHT IN ADULTERY. THEY MADE HER STAND BEFORE THE GROUP AND SAID TO JESUS, “TEACHER, THIS WOMAN WAS CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF ADULTERY. IN THE LAW MOSES COMMANDED US TO STONE SUCH WOMEN. NOW WHAT DO YOU SAY?” THEY WERE USING THIS QUESTION AS A TRAP, IN ORDER TO HAVE A BASIS FOR ACCUSING HIM. WHEN THEY KEPT ON QUESTIONING HIM, HE STRAIGHTENED UP AND SAID TO THEM, “IF ANY ONE OF YOU IS WITH OUT SIN, LET HIM BE THE FIRST TO THROUGH A STONE AT HER.” AT THIS THOSE WHO HEARD BEGAN TO GO AWAY ONE AT A TIME, THE OLDER ONES FIRST. JOHN 8:3-9

4. The criminal on the cross: ONE OF THE CRIMINALS WHO HUNG THERE HURLED INSULTS AT HIM: “AREN’T YOU THE CHRIST? SAVE YOURSELF AND US!” BUT THE OTHER CRIMINAL REBUKED HIM, “DON’T YOU FEAR GOD, HE SAID, SINCE YOU ARE UNDER THE SAME SENTENCE. WE ARE PUNISHED JUSTLY, FOR WE ARE GETTING WHAT OUR DEEDS DESERVE. BUT THIS MAN HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG.” THEN HE SAID, “JESUS, REMEMBER ME WHEN YOU COME INTO YOUR KINGDOM.” JESUS ANSWERED HIM, “I TELL YOU THE TRUTH TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE.” LUKE 23:39-43

5. The soldiers who crucified Him: JESUS SAID “FATHER, FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY KNOW DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.” LUKE 23:34

Now, these are but a few examples of Jesus’ tremendous Love and Forgiveness toward mankind. So, as a child of God, never think that your sins can not be forgiven! Amen.

Your sins are forgiven

MY DEAR CHILDREN, I WRITE THIS TO YOU SO THAT YOU WILL NOT SIN.  BUT IF ANYBODY DOES SIN, WE HAVE ONE WHO SPEAKS TO THE FATHER IN OUR DEFENSE, JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS ONE.  HE IS THE ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS, AND NOT ONLY OURS BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD. 1 JOHN 2:1-2 *NIV

When we repent our sins, they are cleansed from the Book of Life FOREVER, by the Blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. For it is written: IN HIM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RICHES OF GOD’S GRACE. EPHESIANS 1:7 FOR I WILL CLEANSE THEM FROM ALL THE SIN THEY HAVE COMMITTED AGAINST ME AND WILL FORGIVE ALL THEIR SINS OF REBELLION AGAINST ME. JEREMIAH 33:8

Now our sins are not only forgiven, they are forgotten as well! For God has said: “I WILL FORGIVE THEIR WICKEDNESS AND WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO MORE.” HEBREWS 8:12

So, never feel that you have done something that God will not forgive you for, because there is only one unforgivable sin.  Our Savior said: “EVERYONE WHO SPEAKS A WORD AGAINST THE SON OF MAN WILL BE FORGIVEN, BUT ANYONE WHO BLASPHEMIES AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN.” ( LUKE 12:10 ), and unless you believe that satan created the World and is God, you can not be guilty of that!

Therefore, never feel that God loves you less than before because of something that you have done.  Neither feel that you have done something unforgivable either!  After all God’s Love is unconditional and pure, and He loves you just as much today, as the day you were born!  Amen.
