LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND GIVE GLORY TO YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN. MATTHEW 5:6 *NKJV
YOU WERE ONCE DARKNESS, NOW YOU ARE LIGHT IN THE LORD. WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT. For, IF WE WALK IN THE LIGHT AS HE IS IN THE LIGHT, WE HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER, AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST HIS SON CLEANSES US FROM ALL SIN. EPHESIANS 5:8 & 1 JOHN 1:6-7
Now how do we walk in the light? Well, your little light shines every time you smile at someone, or do a good deed for them. Also when you take the time to help someone in need, or share God’s Word with another. When you reach out to someone who is suffering with pain or sorrow. Thus when, through you actions, you show others what being a Christian is all about. Thus: LOVE YOU NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. MATTHEW 19:19
Now, if you think your little light is a dim one, well perhaps, as I believe, our little lights are magnified in the immense mirror of God’s Love. Perhaps His reflectors are our hearts, spreading the flame of kindness to one another. Therefore, why not shine you light on others today? You will not only help them but it will warm your heart as well!
In Closing, just think, “If everyone would light, just one little candle, what a bright World this would be.” Amen.
Let us walk in the Light.

ARISE, SHINE; FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME! AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON YOU. FOR BEHOLD, THE DARKNESS SHALL COVER THE EARTH, AND DEEP DARKNESS THE PEOPLE; BUT THE LORD WILL RISE OVER YOU, AND HIS GLORY WILL BE SEEN UPON YOU. ISAIAH 60:1-2 *NKJV
Now think spiritually here, for the “light” is the magnificent glory of our Heavenly Father! As His children we are reflectors of His “light,” so COME AND LET US WALK IN THE LIGHT OF THE LORD. ISAIAH 2:5
Remember that our Savior, Jesus Christ said, “YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A CITY THAT IS SET ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN. NOR DO THEY LIGHT A LAMP AND PUT IT UNDER A BASKET, BUT ON A LAMP STAND, AND IT GIVES LIGHT TO ALL WHO ARE IN THE HOUSE. LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.” MATTHEW 5:14-16
So, it is my prayer that you are already walking in God’s Glorious Light! If not now would be a great time to start! Ask God to fill you with it. For you will find that to be a truly wonderful experience, and don’t worry; though God’s Great Light is brilliant, it is guaranteed not to give you a sunburn!
Now, may you have a bright shiny day that is filled with God’s Love! Amen.

YOU WERE ONCE DARKNESS, BUT NOW YOU ARE LIGHT IN THE LORD. LIVE AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT, FOR THE FRUIT OF THE LIGHT CONSISTS IN ALL GOODNESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUTH. EPHESIANS 5:8-9 * NIV
As Childern of Light our actions shoul reflect our faith, and shine brightly to others. We should never be afraid to show our faith no matter where we are, or who we are with. After all we are beacons of God’s Love shining out into dark World that is searching for love in all the wrong places. A World that is full of people without love, hope and faith.
Therefore our Savior Jesus Christ stressed this truth in the Sermon on the Mount, for He said “YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A CITY ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN. NEITHER DO PEOPLE LIGHT A LAMP AND PUT IT UNDER A BOWL. INSTEAD THEY PUT IT ON ITS STAND, AND IT GIVES LIGHT TO EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE.” MATTHEW 5:14-15
Further, you probably have known people that seem to light up a room when they enter, well, IN THE SAME WAY, LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD DEEDS AND PRAISE YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN. MATTHEW 5:16
Now you may be thinking “my light is a dim one.” Well, I believe that our dim light is magnified by the immense mirror of God’s Love. Thus it truly shines brightly when we tell others about our Heavenly Father, and show goodness toward the people in our lives! So try it today and see for yourself, for if everyone would light just one little candle what a bright World this would be! Amen
